The Bad Boys Are Back In Detroit!

The Detroit Pistons shock the world by beating the Lakers in the fifth and decisive game of the NBA Finals!

Pistons 100

LA Lakers 87

The Pistons win the series four games to one. Go Pistons!

The Pistons have a slogan over their tunnel entrance:

"Hard work pays off." In four words, that summarizes this Detroit team. They played hard every possession of every quarter.

Here's to the Great Wall of Wallace. (Big Ben and Ra-SHEED!)

Here's to Richard "Rip" Hamilton.

Here's to Chauncey Billups, who deserves to be Series MVP.

Here's to the Prince of the Palace, Tayshaun Prince.

Thank you for a memorable season.

That was one hell of a game!  Poor Jack Nicholson had to travel all the way to Detroit to see his boys lose   My 7yr old calls Ben's hair "Buffalo hair".  That is his term for 'fros.

Great game, good for Detroit - as a team and a city.

I'm anticipating a t-shirt that incorporates the Pistons, the Lakers, Jack Nicholson, and the quote "You can't handle the truth!"

Watching the game was so exciting. Nearing the end of the 3rd quarter, I was cheering every rebound that Ben Wallace got (and making fun of Kobe and Devean George for their immaturity.) He was just amazing. There just seemed to be this buzz in Michigan. Everywhere you went people were talking about the game. And at 11:00, no one was on the road. Fireworks were going off. The newscasters were cheering and wearing Pistons uniforms. It was great to see.
